Dr. John Cherniavsky will meet with the
Selene team during a visit Aug. 23 to the Center for Educational Technologies®. He will review the game design and data analysis techniques being used in
Selene and also examine ways how the
Selene research might be leveraged into NSF activities.
The lunar science online game was funded by NASA as part of an investigation into how students can best learn NASA science through videogames. Research began in May and is continuing. Cherniavsky will also present general sessions open to the Wheeling Jesuit University community on NSF funding and proposal writing during the visit.
